Thank You for Smoking raises some interesting points about how society has managed to keep unhealthy habits alive. While people can provide valuable information regarding the health risks of smoking, people are still going to make a choice, and this does not necessarily mean that they will make the right choice. We often see that this is a form of behavior, and behaviors are extremely difficult to change. Once a habit takes place, it can be difficult to stop that habit. I did not find the film to be completely realistic, but it did help to illustrate the main message, and to me that was one of personal choice. People are able to make their own choices, and there will always be people attempting to make a profit off of someone's habits and behavior. This is interesting, but is a major public health issue
